About Erin Wilmer
Erin is a native of Pensacola, Floria, a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and alumnus of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education & Development. Erin is a retired Navy Chief with 24 years of Honorable Service. She is also a three-time recipient of the National Defense Wartime Service Medal for service during Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After her retirement from military service, Erin immediately began her financial career with a well-known financial firm in June 2012. After 10 years of dedicated financial counsel and service to her clients, she launched The Wilmer Financial Group, Inc. The office is located in Pensacola's downtown historical district. Erin is also a strategic partner with The Wingate Group, Inc., where she oversees their Wealth Management Division.
Erin and her husband, Steve, married in April 1998. Steve is President of The Risk Advisor Institute, a corporate training company. Both Steve and Erin are published authors, licensed and ordained ministers and motivational speakers. They reside in Pensacola with their 4 children, Judah, Josiah, Joi and Jayna and their pet boxer, Ali.
Erin actively serves her community on several boards and organizations, Impact100 Global Veterans, Impact100 Pensacola, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Perdido Key Chamber of Commerce Board Member and Committee Chair for Military Affairs. She spearheads The Annual Star Spangled Salute: A Tribute to Active and Retired military members and their dependents.
Erin enjoys spending time with her family, appreciates all genres of music, and her favorite place for leisure is the beach. Erin began a daily morning devotion on Facebook live in 2020 to help her family and friends navigate through the pandemic. Erin is an encourager and servant to many people she encounters. Erin is passionaite about educating individuals and families on the importance of investing and preparing for their future. Erin is intentional about providing proficient and relevant financial advice and exceptional customer service that she hopes her clients can rely on.
